Also in today was a T5 1.9 84 bhp van that had been remapped elsewhere. We started on this after fitting one of the awesome PP Tuning exhaust systems. With the old remap this made 132 bhp and 283 nm but the owner said it felt sluggish. WE don’t just overwrite software, we put them back to stock and start afresh. At stock this made 81 bhp and 201 nm (yep, we will bore you with how accurate this dyno is) but once tuned this made an impressive 140 bhp and 330 nm of super smooth pendle performance torque.
BHP wise this made an additional 6% more but it’s the torque that matters and how it drives and this was no exception making 43 nm more (17% more torque).
This will feel a lot better to drive now it’s been remapped properly 🙂
