In today was a T5.1 140 bhp stuck in limp mode. The DFP on this had reached 46 grams and this van was stuck in limp mode. At this level it could be considered too full and needs replacing as it has past the point where it can be regenerated. Here at TH Performance we see this a lot and rather than try and sell you a new DPF costing thousands of pounds we have the technology and equipment to make these Dpf’s empty using the very own software on the vehicle, no chemicals, no trickery just knowledge of the software and a dyno means we can empty these saving thousands.
This came in and our first dyno run showed it stuck in limp mode at 51 bhp and 162 nm of torque.
We then set about doing our thing and less than an hour later it was making 147 bhp and 328 nm of torque. We then remapped this van for the owner after updating the software to the latest version from VW (3 updates outstanding).
Once we finished remapping this van it went from 51 bhp and 162 nm of torque on arrival with a blocked dpf to 181 bhp and 405 nm of super smooth Pendle torque.
We didn’t charge any extra for the dpf clean, we do this as part of a remap and for the good of the vehicle.
