In this week was a T4 for some TLC. This T4 had a whining noise and was down on power. A quick dyno run and datalog confirmed our suspicions that it was the MAF sensor playing up however it wasn’t just that, it had the wrong MAF sensor fitted by another “specialist”. Once replaced it made perfect power however the whining was a damaged pulley so a belt and braces approach was used by the owner and all pulleys and belts along with a new water pump was fitted. This left us running spot on at 112 bhp and 273nm of torque (good for a 102bhp van).
