We had a T5 1.9 van in recently, the owner complained that his van smoked and requested new injector seals which we did. The same customer a few days later complained that it was taking a few turns to start whereas before it started on the button.

We got the van back in and on removal of the injectors we found one of the seals was nicked (probably on fitting) and may have been the cause of the slower than normal starting. We have replaced all the injector seals at our expense. Hopefully this is the end of the problem and we don’t see this van back.

We don’t mind saying we might have got something wrong because we always put it right if we do.
