So this afternoon we had a call from our friends in Halfords as they had this Skoda in with a totally blocked DPF which wouldn’t regenerate no matter what they tried. Forcing these to regen and clean themselves can be difficult but with a MAHA dyno and specialist knowledge we can clean these without the use of chemicals or removing them. This had over 50g of soot in it. Main dealers would probably just replace it as even they wouldn’t be able to regen it but we can. Using a combination of dyno runs and steady driving on the dyno we were able to get the dpf level down to under 40g and once this happened we were able to carry out a static regen. This took us just under 2 hours to sort.
